Creamed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 500 mL (2 cups) 18% or 33% Cream
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) Butter
  • 1 chopped Onions
  • 1 clove minced Garlic
  • 1 L (4 cups) sliced, Mixed Mushrooms
  • 250 mL (1 cup) dry White Wine
  • To garnish Lemon Zest
  • Serve with on a salad bed Lettuce

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter and cook onion, garlic and mushrooms.
  2. Add wine and reduce by half.
  3. Add cream and reduce until as thick as desired.
  4. Serve hot over a green salad, garnish with lemon zest
