Creamed Mushrooms

500 mL (2 cups) 18% or 33% Cream

30 mL (2 tbsp) Butter

1 chopped Onions

1 clove minced Garlic

1 L (4 cups) sliced, Mixed Mushrooms

250 mL (1 cup) dry White Wine

To garnish Lemon Zest

Serve with on a salad bed Lettuce

Cooking Instruction

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter and cook onion, garlic and mushrooms.
  2. Add wine and reduce by half.
  3. Add cream and reduce until as thick as desired.
  4. Serve hot over a green salad, garnish with lemon zest
